As an AR Specialist, you’ll ensure payments are posted correctly and accounts are balanced on time. Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Plano, TX

Pay Rate: $23/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8-5 (on-site role)

Responsibilities:

• Post daily checks and electronic payments with speed and precision

• Reconcile accounts and follow up on discrepancies or outstanding balances

• Work cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve payment issues

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards

• Generate aging reports and assist with collections as needed

• Deliver timely and clear communication with clients regarding payments

• Continuously identify process improvement opportunities in AR workflows

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar accounting role

• Strong math aptitude and keen attention to detail

• Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks independently

• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving

• High school diploma required
