Salary: 183,498 - 212,750 USD per year Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field; a master's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of corporate Systems/Solutions Architecture processes and trends.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with software development cycles.
• Expert knowledge of programming languages and technologies, including Python, Java, PHP, Apex, Drupal, SharePoint, Atlassian, GitLab, .NET, Salesforce, Docker and Containers, NGINX, Postgres, Ruby on Rails.
• Secret Clearance is required.
• Required Technical Skills: Cloud experience in Azure/Cloud.gov; hands-on experience with navigating Microsoft’s Azure Platform; Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Relevant Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Engineer, Azure Security, CISSP, AWS.
• Experience: 10 years of relevant experience (may vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree); experience using MS Visio for updating diagrams; experience working in Federal or State government environments; and an ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design data infrastructure: Create data models, catalogs, and architecture standards.
• Implement data solutions: Use Azure services like Azure Data Factory and Databricks to build data lakes and other solutions.
• Ensure data quality: Create policies and procedures to ensure data is reliable, accurate, and secure.
• Collaborate with teams: Work with data analysts, cybersecurity teams, and business partners.
• Provide technical guidance: Train team members on Azure data services and new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with security and compliance standards for Azure data services.
• Lead data governance and master data management using Azure Databricks or other recommended tools by the customer.
• Manage cross-functional projects to deliver agile cloud transformation.
• Periodically audit existing systems infrastructure and architecture to ensure a thorough understanding of present capabilities.
• Update architecture diagrams to ensure accuracy on production systems.
• Report to leadership and key stakeholders regarding findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals and software engineers to develop systems solutions that support customer and NCC goals.
• Work with teams making changes in physical hardware and software to ensure seamless integration of new technologies, including Cloud and On-Prem hosting, including DevSecOps teams.
• Assist in developing Authorization To Test (ATT), Authorization To Operate (ATO), and Authorization To Use (ATU).

As an Azure Cloud & Data Architect, you will have the opportunity to make an impact by providing services that help the government ensure the well-being of U.S. citizens. You will be part of our deployment information technology team, responsible for developing a high-level understanding of the complex systems that govern and facilitate our customer business operations.
