Position Summary:

As the Barback at the newest addition to The Salt Shed , you will support bartenders by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, clean, and well-organized. This laid-back neighborhood bar offers great drinks, good vibes, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re all about fun, games, and creating a space to unwind. This exciting new concept will be an electrifying hub for entertainment and connection. You will assist with inventory management, glassware cleaning, and overall bar maintenance to ensure smooth service and an excellent guest experience.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, glassware, batches, and ice.
• Assist bartenders with restocking and organizing during service hours.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bar area, including wiping down counters & coolers, cleaning spills, and emptying trash.
• Collect and wash glassware, ensuring a steady supply of clean glasses.
• Monitor and refill ice bins throughout the shift.
• Assist in receiving, organizing, and rotating stock to maintain freshness and compliance with health codes.
• Support bartenders with garnishes, syrups, and batches as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Provide backup assistance to bartenders during busy periods.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and allergies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by bartenders or management.

About You:

• Ability to work late hours and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Capable of handling intoxicated guests professionally and safely.
• Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
