Business Process Management Consultant

Description:

We are looking for a Business Process Management Specialist who can work independently and has excellent communication and organization skills.

The candidate will design, implement, evaluate, and audit project management processes and templates for the Application Services office. Duties include compiling metrics relating to IT project success, assisting project managers with implementing and improving project management processes, providing administrative support, organizing and maintaining project documentation, and communicating with project managers and staff to meet their needs.

The candidate will act as a liaison, gather and document business strategy goals as requirements, understand technical problems and solutions, identify and document process improvements, participate in ongoing process reviews, and ensure compliance with laws and standards.

Additional tasks include assisting with business process redesign, documentation, business cases and feasibility studies, translating business requirements, coordinating project schedules, assisting with User Acceptance Testing, evaluating information from multiple resources, developing desk procedures, and preparing business rules and knowledge transfer activities.

Requirements:

Minimum of five years’ experience in business process reengineering and documentation, preferably in public sector technology organizations.

Working understanding of program and project management responsibilities, resource management, change management, and extensive knowledge of state IT requirements (Rules 60GG-1 through 5, F.A.C.).

Ability to coordinate on large and cross-functional projects, develop and maintain working relationships with business office staff, and provide research guidance for key IT initiatives.

Experience with business process tools and deployment for successful outcomes.

Excellent communication and organization skills are essential.
