**Job Title: Clamp Truck Operator 3rd shift $20-$23hr Contact Jeffery Staadt if you're interested! 630/361/2764** **Job Description** Join a groundbreaking, state-of-the-art facility as a Clamp Truck Operator. Be part of a team at a newly established Greenfield site, specializing in the production of high-performance corrugated packaging. This role is crucial in a fast-paced production environment, contributing significantly to day-to-day operations. **Responsibilities** + Move rolls from trucks and warehouses to the corrugator for consumption. + Recognize and report safety, quality, or production issues using provided tools. + Follow instructions to ensure shipment deadlines are met and unloading is conducted within guidelines. + Adhere to all safety procedures and intervene when observing unsafe practices. + Ensure a high level of quality, productivity, and attention to detail. + Coordinate with operators, superintendents, the shipping department, and customer service. + Ensure loads are accurate and damage-free. + Offload incoming loads in a timely manner and place them in the correct location. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of Roll Clamp Truck Forklift experience. + Ability to work overtime, typically up to 60 hours per week. + Proficient in reading a measuring tape and ruler, and using basic shop math. + Ability to learn and follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as part of a team. + High degree of attention to detail and dexterity in controlling equipment. + Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs. throughout the day. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proven attendance record. + Drive for results and strong work ethic. + Great attitude with a team-first mindset. + Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred but not required. **Why Work Here?** Experience working in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility with plans for expansion. While not climate-controlled, expect warmer temperatures during summer. Adhere to safety protocols by wearing steel toes, safety vests, glasses, ear protection, and a hard hat. The spacious environment requires being on your feet and walking, as the facility is expansive. Initially running on the first shift, the company plans to add second and third shifts throughout the year. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Streamwood, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
