Job Description

The DIRECTOR OF HOUSEKEEPING AND MAINTENANCE is responsible for all maintenance and housekeeping functions within the assisted living community. The Director will have a hands-on (specific to electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, and custodial duties) role in the overall operation of the community along with administrative duties. This is a full-time, hands-on, Mon-Fri position with on-call responsibilities. Benefits

Responsibilities (include but not limited to). * Painting and apartment turnovers * Cleaning and trash removal. * Responsible for ensuring proper maintenance and housekeeping services * Routine maintenance of property and grounds * Preventative maintenance * Supervision and management of housekeeping staff to include hiring, supervision, and evaluation of staff. * On-call 24/7 for property emergencies Requirements: * HVAC certification preferred but not required * Strong working knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing * Must have 3 years’ property management experience preferably in health care setting. * Strong communication and customer service skills required.
