Materials and Production Scheduling Manager at a glance...

The Materials & Scheduling Manager leads the Materials and Scheduling group consisting of Materials & Labor Planner/Schedulers (3), Inventory Reconciliation Specialists (2) and the Transactional Data Coordinator. The Materials & Scheduling group is responsible for production scheduling, ordering of inbound materials, resolving quality issues with inbound materials, reducing on hand inventories YoY, ensuring CTP goals are achieved, reducing costs YoY, maintaining accurate inventories and resolving carrier issues. The Materials & Scheduling Manager has functional responsibility for QRMP standard(s) as assigned and ensures product quality meets all regulations relative to food safety, regulatory compliance and Kraft Heinz standards.

Adherence to Kraft Heinz policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices.

  • Actively support all continuous improvement efforts throughout the plant.
  • Actively participate on and/or lead a Safety Committee.
  • Ensure the Materials & Scheduling group adheres to all safety and quality requirements.
  • Ensure production schedules achieve the HQ production plan in the most cost effective manner for the factory.
  • Ensure procurement of raw and pack materials and supplies meet planned demand.
  • Ensure all materials supply and materials quality issues affecting the factory, including carrier issues are investigated and resolved.
  • Support the R&D team in development of new products and processes and ensure new products are optimally commercialized.
  • Ensure RPW inventory reduction targets are met or exceeded per MBO targets.
  • Ensure planned inventory movements from outside storage accurately supplement direct shipments and cycle through all materials at least quarterly.
  • Work with BOMs & Recipes group to ensure accurate operational BOMs in SAP to ensure proper inventory consumption in SAP.
  • Ensure receipt, invoice and other issues related to materials and supplies are resolved timely.
  • Ensure cycle counts and warehouse audits meet KH and SOX standards.
  • Ensure rework transactions are completed timely and accurately.
  • Ensure CTP goals are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure SAP errors are resolved in a timely manner
  • Training, meetings, audits and committees related to the overall success of the factory.
  • Analyze manufacturing variances of ingredient, materials, and labor usage and works with management team to implement strategies to reduce them.
  • All other duties as assigned to chip in to the success of the factory.

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
