Description of the role: The Night Auditor at Candlewood Suites - Shelbyville plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations during the night shift. Responsibilities:

Verify and balance entries and records of financial transactions reported by various hotel departments during the day.
Handle end-of-day activities and create reports for the hotel’s financial records.
Greet guests that arrive during the night, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and provide exceptional customer service.
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night.

Requirements:

Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or hotel front desk operations is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently during the night shift.
Proficiency in using computer software and basic accounting principles.
