What You'll Do:
Lead in the provision of patient care using the nursing process.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members.
Assume accountability for quality patient outcomes.
Exhibit sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.
Contribute to unit and department strategic goals.
Demonstrate professional responsibility and accountability.
Assess learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies.

What You'll Bring:
Registered nurse diploma. (Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing preferred)
Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. (Certification in clinical specialty area preferred)
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to be self-directed.
Ability to demonstrate good judgment.

Physical and Environmental Demands:
This role requires the ability to perform heavy work, exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. You will be exposed to blood, body fluids, and tissue. The work environment is a patient care area with potential exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous medications or waste.
