Find out how far your passion can take you. **About the Job** This is a Summer Internship will last between May 2026 and August 2026 If you're an extrovert and have a keen curiosity about pursuing a career in sales, then our internship program at Brightly is the perfect opportunity for you! During this 10-week program, you will shadow several different parts of our sales organization, including the SDR, Account Executive, Sales Leadership, and more. Once you have learned our process, you will be given the opportunity to compete with your fellow Sales Interns and full-time SDRs in a month-long sales competition to see who has learned Brightly the best. The Brightly Sales Internship Program is an integral part of our growth and development. We rely on our interns to grow our footprint in each of our respected verticals, generate new quality leads, and improve the way we operate within sales development. **What you will do** As a Sales Intern, you will support each one of our verticals (Education, Government, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Enterprise Sales) and will: + Participate in Shadow Sessions with current SDR and Account Executives. + Database Clean Up - build new Account and New Contacts based on target personas and key business segments. + Verify contacts at key accounts and market segments. + Provide feedback on current process and work with Sales Leadership to leave a lasting change on the Sales Organization. + Prospect to generate new business for the company through qualified Discovery Calls. + Maintain the integrity of sales systems (CRM) and internal processes through execution and documentation, constantly seeking ways to help us grow and improve. **_Please note that this is a hybrid opportunity. Successful candidates will be required to work from our office in Raleigh, NC, with the option to work from home some days._** **What you need** + Rising 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in a bachelor's degree program + A basic understanding of the internet and web browsers such as Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer and Firefox. + Experience with MS Office suite of products such as MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. + High energy levels and enthusiasm. + A strong work ethic and personal integrity. + Team oriented perspective with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. + Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. + An ability to take initiative for self-development and patience while learning new processes. + Excellent written, oral and listening communication skills. **What makes you a Standout** + Experience using Salesforce. + Prior work experience in a service-oriented job role (e.g., in Customer Service) **The Brightly culture** We're guided by a vision of community that serves the ambitions and wellbeing of all people, and our professional communities are no exception.
