This position reports to

Scrum master Chapter lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to foster a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment to deliver value to stakeholders. Each day, you will guide a squad and facilitate collaboration using agile methodologies and moderation skills. You will also showcase your expertise by fostering effective team dynamics, building agile maturity, and helping the squad deliver their best work. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the US Region. You will be mainly accountable for: • Working with two squads in parallel, providing guidance on the application of agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to customers. • Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of scrum framework and that squads adhere to scrum theory, practice, and guidelines. • Elevating the squad to a high-performing level by identifying areas of strength and improvement, employing targeted coaching, and utilizing effective development techniques. • Facilitating team-level scrum events, including sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective, ensuring active and comprehensive team engagement. Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role applying Agile principles and practices.
• Experience in leading people with the ability to earn trust while challenging the team to improve and operate outside its comfort zone.
• Ability to apply creative thinking to solve problems and get things done.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
• Ability to promote positive team dynamics & collaboration within the team and other teams.
• Risk management and conflict resolution skills.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
