About the Role:
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing large-scale IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving innovation. You will manage the full project lifecycle—from planning and design to execution and delivery—while collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments. Your leadership will help enhance business efficiency and optimize technology solutions.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days working remotely. For highly experienced candidates, a fully remote option may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and leadership to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address roadblocks to keep projects on track.
Budget & Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Performance Monitoring: Track project progress using key performance indicators (KPIs), provide regular status reports, and drive continuous improvement.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, improve efficiency, and implement best practices in project management.
Leadership & Team Coordination: Guide project teams, foster collaboration, and ensure clear communication of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
PMP certification preferred.
Experience with Guidewire software is a plus.
Previous experience in P&C insurance preferred.
Strong background in project management, particularly leading complex IT projects.
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to take initiative, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
