How Will You Make an Impact?

The Senior Test Technician will be responsible for assembling and testing electro and mechanical subassemblies to drawings, BOMs and work instructions to meet quality control standards and production schedules. The Senior Test Technician tests scientific instruments using test fixtures and computers to identify mechanical and electrical problems.

A Day in the Life

• Perform product testing per defined processes and specifications of our radiation products in production environment
• Calibration and test using radiation sources
• Monitor and record performance of products on test and providing status to team members/leaders
• Performs activities based on procedures
• Tests parts of systems, or systems with typical test times
• Delivery on time of modules or electro mechanical assemblies with the right quality
• Working on improvements of products and related processes
• Independent tracing, analyses to solve problems

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electronics manufacturing and testing
• Ability to do analyses and interpretations of electrical, mechanics and software technical data
• Mechanical proficiency
• Attention to detail
• Systematic Problem Solving (product documentation, flowcharts, drawings)
• Can take initiative, is flexible and wants to take ownership
• Self sufficient
• Flexibility towards changes, with a positive attitude

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work in warehouse environment under various temperatures'
