Under the supervision of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Principal, the CTE Teaching Assistant assists CTE program activities including support CTE teachers, College and Career Center staff, and/or Adult Transition Program teachers as assigned in the conduct of lessons instructional programs, Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) activities, and other program related activities, including program and curriculum presentation to students, provide and correction of tests and related classroom activities, tutor students; attends to student's physical needs in the classroom; assist in supervising children on campus and on educational field trips; confers as needed with teachers concerning programs and materials to meet student needs; files and stores materials as directed; assist in the guidance of recreation and craft activities and do other related work.
