Job Summary Technical Writer


- Create and edit technical documentation, including user and service manuals, for products in the medical device or related industries.
- Apply conventions of technical writing regarding form, structure, and notation.
- Utilize tools such as Framemaker, XML authoring tools, DITA, content management systems, MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Organize and manage documentation projects, ensuring timely completion and high quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Maintain and update content in content management systems using XML authoring tools.
- Demonstrate strong written, organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Leverage knowledge of the software development cycle to align documentation with product development stages.
- Apply basic functional knowledge of HTML and VB Script as needed.
- Work independently or as part of a team, showing motivation and initiative.
- Ensure documentation meets industry standards and client requirements.
