Requirements to apply:

1. A bachelor degree in primary education
2. Ideally two years of experience in primary education
3. The high command of written and spoken english
4. Up to date with modern pedagogy
5. Able to use technology within the classroom
6. Has excellent classroom management skills
7. Is flexible to adapt to the working culture in oman
8. willing to attend professional development sessions

Salary package:

1. A tax free salary of 1600 Omani Riyals per month based on qualifications and experience

6. A 2 year conrtact which is renewable on mutual agreement

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Experience:

2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered

Prefer candidates with international experience

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Additional:

**Your bachelor's degree MUST be in Primary Education
**Having a Master's is beneficial to your application
**Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial to your application
**If you have experience of working in an Islamic environment/students is beneficial for you

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 1000 up to 1600  OMR (Omani Rial)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Housing:

Based on application  fully furnished Housing provided

Flight(s) provided annual flights are provided for the teacher

Bereavement Leave:

Bereavement leave given

Emergency Evacuation:

Emergency evacuation given

Gratuity Amount:

Gratuity Amount of the end of service bonus pay is 3 weeks per annum completed and paid at the end of the contract is provided
