South Metro Animal Emergency Care is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant to join our highly skilled group of professionals for day shifts part-time. Some holiday and weekend hours will be required.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Deliver exceptional, compassionate nursing care to patients utilizing all your technical skills such as:
• Triage emergency cases as they arrive.
• In-patient care for critical patients, including exemplary comfort care.
• Ability to restrain safely and effectively.
• Advocate for patients and clients by answering client's questions and addressing their concerns.
• Help maintain facility cleanliness.
• Readily demonstrate empathy for clients in stressful and emotionally driven moments such as end of life.
• Willingness to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
