About the Role:
As the VP of Silicon Operations, you will be the driving force behind our silicon product supply chain, overseeing everything from wafer procurement to finished goods delivery. You will own the entire production lifecycle for our Endpoint ICs and Reader ICs, ensuring product quantity, quality, and cost goals are met. With a history of 30% annual unit volume growth, this role requires a leader who can continuously evolve our organization, supply chain, and strategies.
What You'll Do:
Own the Supply Chain: Take full ownership of the silicon product supply chain, from start to finish.
Develop & Execute Strategy: Create, maintain, and implement a dynamic 5-year supply chain strategy.
Forecast Demand: Partner with Sales and Product Management to accurately forecast demand across short-term, mid-term, and long-term horizons.
Secure Wafer Supply: Develop and execute a robust wafer supply strategy that meets both supply and financial objectives.
Manage Manufacturing Partners: Oversee and expand our network of contract manufacturers, ensuring seamless conversion of wafers into finished goods.
Deliver Excellence: Achieve the highest levels of quality and customer service while meeting financial, operational, and social responsibility goals.
Negotiate & Manage Contracts: Create and execute sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with raw material suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers globally.
Oversee Operations: Manage manufacturing and logistics operations efficiently and effectively.
Track Performance: Develop, report, and continuously improve key supply chain performance indicators.
Manage Budget: Own the capital and operational budget required to enable supply.
Lead & Develop Teams: Grow and develop the organization to support rapid growth and scale.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, including 5-7+ years of managerial experience in a global organization.
Experience working with ISO9001 standards or in a regulated industry.
Proven success in supplier management, cost reduction, on-time delivery, and supplier sustainability.
Demonstrated experience negotiating large-scale, multi-year contracts.
Track record of leading and scaling organizations, both in terms of people and processes.
What We Offer:
Competitive compensation (The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $190,000- $305,000. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.)
